Ali is a contemporary dance artist living in Winnipeg. She is in her fourth season working with TRIP dance company after performing in Herding Instinct and the art of displacement. Since 2004 she has been studying and performing contact improvisation in Vancouver with EDAM, under the direction of Peter Bingham. Her own choreographic work has been presented by Young Lungs Dance Exchange and performed in the Winnipeg Fringe Festival. This past summer Ali worked with The Rite Productions on an ongoing project titled The Rite. She teaches creative movement for children, contact improvisation classes and is a graduate of the School of Contemporary Dancers Professional Program.
