Rachel Browne Theatre $20 Reserve your spot at

Join us for a 2 hour movement workshop complete with a warm-up lead by Janelle followed by movement exploration and choreography with Jason. Here is what you can expect:

“My class is about working with a powerful and unique physicality. Improvisation and open dancing, will be the tools to start. Later we slow down and focus on the short exercises that connect to final phrases which will end the class. In a playful environment, I want to work with instinct to discover d i f f e r e n t k i n d s o f m o v e m e n t possibilities. The work improves instinctive movement and connects c o n s c i o u s a n d u n c o n s c i o u s movement, and it allows for an experience of freedom and pleasure in a simple way. Aiming to give equal opportunities to instinct and intellect, my work is known to favour the participation and development of unique corporal identities through a multitude of gestures. Notions of listening, sharing and engaging will be fundamental to the development of sensitive and meaningful material throughout this workshop.”
